Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix the Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Her father Paul Felix is an ordained minister of the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix's talent for athletics was evident from the moment she began attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. After her first audition she was ranked within the top two places in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships, for 200 meters in just 10 weeks. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003, signed a sports contract with Adidas. After that, she was accepted into the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic gold medal during the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record in the 200-meter race with a time of 22.18. She was the youngest world champion in the 200 meters at the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007 beating long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix competed at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and has consistently ranked in the top three of athletes at her particular events.
